His solo recordings offer a parallel journey: a space to explore different musical settings, instrumental combinations & approaches to songwriting. Originally released as a 10LP collection in 2024, '8314 Boxed' now arrives on Madfish as a 7CD 96-page hardback book edition. Bringing together six studio albums spanning 1983-2014 alongside the live collection 'Roaming In The Gloaming', the set traces three decades of Anderson's restless musical curiosity. The electronic textures of 'Walk Into Light' introduce a catalogue that moves readily between intimate songwriting & expansive composition. 'Divinities: Twelve Dances with God' places Anderson's flute at the centre of an instrumental suite, while 'The Secret Language Of Birds' & 'Rupi's Dance' reveal the finely observed characters, acoustic detail & melodic warmth of his smaller-scale work. With 'Thick As a Brick 2', Anderson returns to the story of Gerald Bostock, extending one of his most celebrated creations into a new century. 'Homo Erraticus' follows with an ambitious exploration of history, myth & identity, it's interwoven narratives reflecting his enduring appetite for the concept album. Completing the collection, 'Roaming In The Gloaming' gathers live recordings from 1995-2007, first released in the original vinyl box. These performances offer a complementary perspective on the studio albums, bringing Anderson's solo repertoire into the shared space of the stage. Shipping, Local Pick Up, Returns & Cancellations Policies.

SHIPPING:

We ship Monday through Friday. Orders typically ship within 24-72 hours. Tracking is sent to the email you provide at check out and may take a few days to become active.

Any items ordered with Pre-Orders will be held until they can all ship together. If you need in stock items faster please order them seperately.

LOCAL PICK UP POLICY:

Due to a large amount of unclaimed local pick ups over the years we have updated our policy. Any orders that remain unclaimed after 90 days from the initial "ready for pick up" notification will be considered abandoned and returned to our system without refund. If you are having issues picking up your order within this time frame please contact us via orders@1234gorecords.com. If you need your order shipped we can easily do so for an added shipping fee.

RETURNS:

Returns are only accepted on damaged or defective items. Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. Please save the original packaging.

If you own a Crosley, Victrola or any other lower end turntable that has no ability to adjust the weight of the tone arm and are experiencing skipping on a new record please try the "Penny Trick". Simply place a penny on the top of the cartidge and it should provide enough weight to resolve your issues. While a great entry to the world of vinyl we do recommend upgrading to a turntable with a tone arm that can be adjusted as this issue will randomly occur. We do not take returns in these cases.

Resellers: If you are buying from us for resale we honestly don't mind. However, please don't panic if something you bought suddenly isn't flipable for more money and then try to return stuff to us because you feel like you made a bad investment choice. Despite our outsized reputation we're a small shop, not amazon. Absorbing these costs adds up on places like ours. Plus a little patience always tends to pay off.

CANCELLATIONS:

Due to an increasing number of payment processors no longer returning transaction fees to sellers on cancelled orders and rising labor costs any orders or pre-orders that need to be cancelled before shipment will be assessed a 5% cancellation/restocking fee on the order total including shipping and any other taxes or fees associated with the order.
