Bilal is ranked among the world's 20 most influential LGBTQ+ figures by Vanity Fair. He was named Personality of the Year 2021 by the French magazine Têtu. Regarded as a pop icon by Les Inrockuptibles magazine, Bilal Hassani has three albums and one mixtape to his name. With *Bonsoir Paris*, Bilal Hassani has released a twelve-track album entirely dedicated to partying, nightlife and the freedom to be oneself. Produced by himself and Sutus, and featuring compositions by Sutus, Poussin, Balthazar Picard, Lilian Mille, Augustin Charnet and Lowonstage, the record revives the unapologetic pop and French Touch of the likes of David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, Daft Punk and Martin Solveig - that 90s house music that shaped his childhood - which he blends with bolder electro sounds and even a touch of Romanian pop. The album is mainly mixed by Nathan Boddy, whose work features on tracks by New Jeans, Mura Masa, Oklou, Olivia Dean and Shygirl, guaranteeing a production that is both pop and resolutely contemporary. With an average tempo of 124 BPM, it's an album made for dancing, conceived as a breath of fresh air for his audience. Billal: key dates: In 2019, after representing France at Eurovision with his song "ROI" - a powerful message of self-acceptance - he released his debut album, KINGDOM, and won the NRJ Music Award for "Francophone Breakthrough Artist of the Year".
