Michael Baum, Niko Dangond, and Alan Connor are all multi-instrumentalists and share duties depending on what each song dictates. Missed Opportunity for the World is a slight return to standard band format (guitar\/bass\/drums) but uses loops as the basis for each new movement. Baum and Connor both take turns as lead and accompanying vocalists, swinging from snarling yelps to crooning ballads. A post-everything kitchen sink ethic includes sample-based beat-driven grooves under harsh or blissful leads. Did we mention this is a pop record?
