Influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who and The Doors, the band evolved from a 60s beat-group into a 70s rock band. This album includes one of their biggest hits: "Back Home" (#1 in the Netherlands, #15 in Germany). Golden Earring archivist and reissue producer Wouter Bessels requested Artone Studio to cut an all-analog cut (AAA), when a playback of the original analog master tape on a Studer A80 machine was cut direct to lacquer on a Neumann VMS-70 lathe. This release marks the first AAA cut of a classic Golden Earring album. The direct-to-disc technique allows a faithful representation of the full musical range and dynamics present on the original tape, without any additional equalization and/or digital processing. Golden Earring (Wall Of Dolls) is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent yellow vinyl and contains an insert with liner notes.

Track List:

1 Yellow and Blue
2 The Loner
3 This Is the Time of the Year
4 Big Tree, Blue Sea
5 The Wall of Dolls
6 Back Home
7 See See
8 I'm Going to Send My Pigeons to the Sky
9 As Long As the Wind Blows

street date 12/4/2026

1-2-3-4 Go!
